Volunteer Opportunities

Make an Impact With 缅北禁地

Hundreds of NM and EDX experts volunteer their time and expertise to serve on a variety of 缅北禁地 committees and task forces each year. These volunteers make it possible for 缅北禁地 to achieve its mission to improve the quality of patient care and advance the science of NM diseases and EDX medicine.

Get involved this year to build meaningful connections with other members, immerse yourself in the latest science, and make an impact in the NM and EDX community.

Explore the committee brochure to learn more, and volunteer to join a group that fits your interests and experience.

Young Leadership Ambassadors

As a member of the Young Leadership Ambassador Program, you will help early-career medical professionals discover the resources and opportunities available through 缅北禁地. By promoting 缅北禁地鈥檚 offerings within your training programs and peer networks, you鈥檒l foster stronger connections between trainees and the organization, highlighting the value of membership, and building a foundation for future engagement.

Key Tasks:

鈥 Promote 缅北禁地鈥檚 resources, especially the Training Program Partnership (TPP), to colleagues and peers.

鈥 Actively participate in quarterly engagement activities and other 缅北禁地 initiatives. 鈥 Engage regularly on Trainee Connect to foster community and share insights.

鈥 Provide feedback and collaborate with 缅北禁地 and the Young Leadership Council.

This committee meets yearly at the 缅北禁地 Annual Meeting. Additional commitment outside of the annual meeting is approximately 2-5 hours per year.

For more information and to apply, visit the Young Ambassador Program page.

You will get opportunities to actively participate regardless of your institutional affiliation, academic rank, or career stage. When you join, do not hesitate to come forward with new ideas, or volunteer yourself for committee roles. You will be heard. You will be given an opportunity to thrive and give back.鈥

Elie Naddaf, MD

In an ever-changing world of medical practice鈥揳nd especially when there are so many and so varied assaults on the quality of EDX medicine鈥揑 have found it rewarding to be a part of efforts and programs to meet these challenges. Being on committees and being involved in the 缅北禁地 helps me feel I am helping and a part of the solution.
